Godfrey

Godfrey C. Danchimah Jr., known mononymously as Godfrey, is an American stand-up comedian, impressionist, and actor of Nigerian descent. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he first broke through in the 1990s performing at local clubs before gaining widespread recognition as a spokesperson for 7 Up. He has appeared in films such as Zoolander, Soul Plane, and Johnson Family Vacation, as well as television projects for Comedy Central, MTV's Wild 'N Out, and various streaming platforms. Known for his observational humor, incisive social commentary, and elite-level impersonations, he also hosts the popular podcast In Godfrey We Trust.
