Southern rap pioneers 8Ball & MJG from Memphis gained fame with hits like "Space Age Pimpin'" and albums such as Comin' Out Hard. Renowned for their influential Southern style, they moved from Suave House Records to major labels like Bad Boy, collaborating with Swizz Beatz and DJ Quik. Known for their resilience, they left Bad Boy for Grand Hustle in 2010.
Goodie Mob, an Atlanta-based hip-hop group, includes Big Gipp, Cee-Lo, Khujo, and T-Mo. Known for their impact in Southern rap, their 1995 debut, "Soul Food," is a classic.
