Cummings began as a high school drummer playing AC/DC and Jimi Hendrix covers before writing her own songs inspired by Paul Kelly, Bob Dylan, Spiritualized’s J Spaceman, and Irish folk music. She became a solo artist in the late 2010s and signed to Flightless Records.

Miriam Elhajli

Miriam Elhajli, a New York-based folk singer, draws from her Venezuelan, Moroccan, and North American roots. She released "Observations" on her label, Numina Records.
