Guthrie Govan

Guthrie Govan, an English guitarist from Chelmsford, Essex, is celebrated for his virtuosity and genre-spanning style, encompassing progressive rock, jazz-fusion, and metal. Winner of "Guitarist of the Year" in 1993, he is known for his solo album "Erotic Cakes" and collaborations with The Aristocrats, Steven Wilson, and Hans Zimmer. He is also a respected guitar instructor.
