Formed in high school as Megatron, Fishbone became known for chaotic, high-energy live shows. Signed to Columbia Records in 1984, they released the debut EP Fishbone and went on to put out four albums and two more EPs.

Staten Island, New York rapper GZA (Gary Grice) is a key Wu-Tang Clan member known for cool, precise flow and literate rhymes. His classic 1995 album Liquid Swords hit the Billboard 200 Top Ten; collaborated with DJ Muggs on Grandmasters.

Phunky Nomads

Phunky Nomads are a New York City funk and soul-influenced hip-hop quartet, formed by drummer Ramsey Jones to back GZA live. They blend hip-hop beats with jazz, blues, funk and rock, and have shared stages with GZA, Big Daddy Kane and Roy Ayers.
