Soul II Soul, led by Jazzie B, emerged from London in the late '80s blending hip-hop, house, and R&B. Known for hits "Keep On Movin'" and "Back to Life," the group achieved Grammy wins, international acclaim, and U.K. chart success. Featuring rotating vocalists like Caron Wheeler, they released several successful albums and singles throughout the '90s. 808 State, formed in Manchester, are pioneers of electronic music known for a futuristic style. Their seventh album, "Transmission Suite," blends past and present sounds.
