Snap! is a German Eurodance group formed in Frankfurt in 1989 by producers Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti. Operating under the pseudonyms Benito Benites and John "Virgo" Garrett III to distance themselves from German music stereotypes, the project experienced several lineup changes and achieved its greatest commercial success fronted by American rapper Turbo B and singer Penny Ford, scoring global hits with "The Power" and "Rhythm Is a Dancer."

Eurodisco artist Haddaway was born in Trinidad and raised in Cologne, Germany. He’s best known for the 1993 club hit What Is Love and his debut LP Haddaway--The Album. Later based in Monaco, he released The Drive (1996) and Let’s Do It Now (1998).
