Heavenly, an indie pop band from Oxford, England, formed in 1989 from Talulah Gosh members. Known for their melodic, jangling guitar sound, they blended punk energy, pop sensibility, and a C86-inspired style. Albums include "Heavenly vs. Satan" and "The Decline and Fall of Heavenly". Their influential music often features sweet melodies and heartfelt lyrics, with "P.U.N.K. Girl" a popular track. They collaborated with Calvin Johnson.
