Hélène Grimaud, born in Aix-en-Provence, France, is a classical piano virtuoso. Renowned for her intense, individualistic interpretations and synesthesia, she plays a muscular repertoire. Her acclaimed albums include The Messenger and For Clara. A Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur, she is also a dedicated wildlife conservationist and founder of the Wolf Conservation Center.
