Herbert Pixner

Herbert Pixner, born in Meran, South Tyrol, is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. He leads the Herbert Pixner Projekt, fusing traditional Alpine folk with jazz, blues, rock, and flamenco. Known for electrifying live performances and multiple gold records, he won an Amadeus Austrian Music Award in Jazz/World/Blues. His albums include "From the Dark Side of the Alps" (2024) and "Schian!" (2022).
