Our Journey

We first appeared at Bullstock 99, El Toro High School. Next we played lunchtime at our rival high school, and we fucking sucked. Eventually, after practicing our instruments and scales and studying music theory, someone gave us some money to record an album. We released The Mechanical Hand in 2005, introducing the beloved characters of Lord Gold and Manateen and many other such things.

What Happened Next

Over time, as individuals we struck out to seek our fortunes in the industries of beer brewing, the custodial arts, high-tech startups, and groceries. Some of us reproduced. Now we are here, with renewed vigor, to celebrate together the 20th anniversary of The Mechanical Hand in 2025. We look great for our age. We are going to play every song. It's going to be hard.
