Ilhan Ersahin, born in Stockholm to a Swedish mother and Turkish father, is a saxophonist blending jazz with ska, funk, and reggae. In NYC, he founded Wax Poetic with Norah Jones and collaborated with artists like Erik Truffaz and Bugge Wesseltoft. He owns the famed Nublu club, pushing forward new-century jazz.
