Miho Hazama, a Grammy-nominated composer from Japan, leads the jazz chamber orchestra "m_unit." Known for collaborations with artists like Joshua Redman, she is the chief conductor of the Danish Radio Big Band and permanent guest conductor of Metropole Orkest. A recipient of the BMI Charlie Parker Composition Prize, Hazama has worked with NHK Symphony Orchestra and WDR Big Band, and is Composer in Residence at Siena Wind Orchestra.
