In Extremo with Finntroll and Rauhbein

In Extremo grew from an acoustic trio into one of Germany's most successful rock bands, blending metal guitars, medieval instruments, and folk rhythms with German lyrics. Over 25 years, they have achieved sold-out tours, multiple top-10 albums, and three number-one releases.

Pioneers of folk-metal, Finntroll, formed in Helsinki in 1997, blend death metal with Finnish folk. Known for albums like "Ur Jordens Djup," they incorporate joik chants. Debut "Midnattens Widunder" was released in 1999. "Jaktens Tid" hit Finnish charts in 2001. Despite founding member Teemu Raimoranta's death in 2003, they thrived with hits like "Nifelvind" and "Blodsvept." Lead vocalist Mathias Lillmåns joined in 2007, replacing Jan Jämsen, who continued as lyricist.
