Filter, formed by Richard Patrick, ex-NIN member, blends hard rock and electronic-leaning industrial sounds. Known for '90s hits like "Hey Man, Nice Shot" and "Take a Picture," the band achieved success with platinum albums "Short Bus" and "Title of Record." Collaborated with The Crystal Method and appeared on iconic soundtracks. Filter's sound evolved, marked by albums like "The Amalgamut" and "The Sun Comes Out Tonight." Despite lineup changes, Patrick remains the creative force, with recent work including 2023's "The Algorithm."
