Isabel Pantoja

Spanish singer Isabel Pantoja, celebrated for her mastery of traditional copla, blends drama and melody with an Andalusian twist. Her career spans romantic pop ballads, earning over 40 platinum records. Her collaborations with Juan Gabriel fostered several hits. Despite a prison sentence, she returned to music with a chart-topping tribute album and performed at the 2017 Festival de Viña in Chile. Pantoja, who debuted at seven, was influenced by flamenco and tragedy, including the loss of her bullfighter husband. She remains influential, featuring in Spanish TV shows and continuing to record and tour.
