Italo Disco, born in early 1980s Italy, is an electronic dance genre. Known for synth-driven beats, vocoders, and catchy melodies, it blended post-disco with sci-fi romance. Iconic songs like Baltimora's "Tarzan Boy" and Raf's "Self Control" defined its sound. It profoundly shaped later electronic music, including house and synth-pop.
