James Ehnes is an internationally sought-after violinist with an extensive discography, winning two Grammys and eleven Juno Awards. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada and plays the 1715 “Marsick” Stradivarius.

Paris-born violist Antoine Tamestit is known for a wide chamber repertoire from Baroque to contemporary. A 2000–04 competition winner, he debuted on record with 2007’s Chaconne, premiered Jörg Widmann’s viola concerto in 2015, and has over 25 recordings.
