Known for hits like "Sit Down" and "Laid," their distinctive sound blends indie pop and rock. They achieved a UK Official Album Chart Number 1 with "Yummy" (2024) and their "Best Of" compilation (1998), selling over 25 million albums worldwide. Brian Eno notably produced their album "Laid".
Formed in Leeds in 2004, indie rock band The Pigeon Detectives broke through with debut album Wait for Me, a UK No. 3 platinum hit featuring “I’m Not Sorry” and “Take Her Back”. Follow-up Emergency reached the Top 5 and went gold.
English band Editors, started as Snowfield in 2003, pioneered the post-punk revival with chart-toppers like "Munich." Known for blending rock and synth, they've received critical acclaim and several platinum albums.
Newcastle indie-pop band Maxïmo Park: hooky, melodic, socio-political songs. Debut A Certain Trigger went multi‑platinum, Mercury-nominated; Nature Always Wins hit UK #2.
The Kairos are a Liverpool, UK-based indie-punk band known for their "Scuzzed up, fuzzed up, Scouse Rock 'n' Roll" sound. They gained recognition with their 2023 debut EP 'Better Late Than Never', featuring tracks like "Thick Of It" and "Trip Through The Night". The band is currently touring the UK and is set to release their second EP, 'KNEESLAPPAS', in Spring 2026. Their live shows are high-energy, captivating audiences with raw emotion and intricate melodies.
Pale Blue Eyes, from Totnes and Sheffield, deliver modernist pop with DIY ethics, retro synths, and nostalgia. Led by Matt and Lucy Board, with bassist Aubrey Simpson, they've been playlisted on BBC Radio 6 Music and supported bands like Slowdive and The Editors. Dean Honer, known for The Human League, mixes their albums.
