Jan Delay, born Jan Eißfeldt in Hamburg, is a founding member of the German hip-hop group Beginner. Known for his lyrical wit and unique voice, he achieved fame with the 1996 hit "Flashnizm" and the Top Ten single "Liebes Lied." He later launched a successful reggae career, releasing albums like Mercedes Dance, and is recognized for his soulful, funky solo work. He has collaborated with the Beastie Boys and established the influential Eimsbush label.

Dicht & ergreifend is a German hip-hop band from Lower Bavaria, known for their unique Bavarian dialect rap. Formed in 2014, they blend modern hip-hop with traditional Bavarian music, delivering humorous and critical lyrics. Popular songs include "Zipfeschwinga" and "Wandadoog". Their albums include "Dampf der Giganten", "Ghetto mi nix o", and "Es werde Dicht". They received the 2017 Culture Prize of Dingolfing-Landau.
