Marco Schmedtje

Marco Schmedtje, from Schleswig-Holstein, moved to Hamburg to study classical music. He toured with Niels Frevert, formed Vierwaender, and collaborated with Jan Plewka, creating the band Zinoba. Schmedtje is a key member of Schwarz-Roten-Heilsarmee and tours with Plewka for Rio Reiser and Simon & Garfunkel programs. His solo work includes "Schöne Geister" and "18."
