Janet Kay's Achievements

Janet Kay’s chart-topping single "Silly Games" put her in the Music Guinness Book of Records for becoming the first British-born black female Reggae artist to have a No. 1 in the British pop charts. Kay also received an MBE for services to music in King Charles III's 2023 honours list.

Carroll Thompson's Contributions

Carroll Thompson’s iconic self-produced and penned album "Hopelessly in Love" was voted the Best Lovers Rock album of all time. Both Carroll Thompson and Janet Kay were voted on the list of '100 Great Black Britons' and were Barclays Women of Merit winners.

Formation of Britain's First Female Reggae Supergroup

Joining their musical forces, these two talented women have once again created music history as Britain's first female Reggae supergroup! They have sold Platinum & Gold records for Sony Japan and Toshiba EMI.
