Aslan, an Irish rock band from Finglas, rose in the '80s with the hit "This Is." Known for evolving from raw rock to mature melodies, they enjoyed success with hits like "Crazy World." Despite struggles, including Christy Dignam’s challenges, they regrouped in the '90s and saw several number one albums. Collaborated with Damien Dempsey and drew inspiration from legends like Bowie and The Beatles.
The Fureys, hailing from Ballyfermot, Ireland, formed in 1974 by brothers Finbar, Eddie, Paul, and George, are iconic in traditional Irish music.
