Jean-Efflam Bavouzet

Born in Lannion, France, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet is renowned for performing and recording Haydn, Debussy, Ravel, Bartók, and Prokofiev. He studied at the Paris Conservatory and has won the Beethoven International Competition and Steven de Groote Memorial Award. Bavouzet debuted with the Orchestre de Paris under Georg Solti and has worked with Boulez, Gergiev, Ashkenazy, and Noseda. His acclaimed recordings have won Grammophon, BBC Music, Diapason d'Or, and Choc de l’année awards.
