Jeanette, born Janette Anne Dimech in London, is an English-born Spanish singer. Raised in the US and Spain, she pioneered folk-pop with Pic-Nic, then excelled as a romantic balladist. Her soft, ethereal vocals define hits like "Soy rebelde" and "Porque te vas," a global success from the film "Cría cuervos". Her enduring influence shapes Spanish indie pop, with her songs inspiring contemporary artists.
