A pioneer of folk and country rock, he was a member of Buffalo Springfield, a founder of Poco, and half of Loggins & Messina, known for hits like "Your Mama Don't Dance". His extensive discography includes solo works and the 2025 live album "Here, There and Everywhere". Messina is well-known for shaping music across five decades.
