Pittsburgh-born Jeff "Tain" Watts is a Grammy Award-winning jazz drummer and composer, celebrated for his dynamic, polyrhythmic drumming and hard-swinging grooves. A Guggenheim Fellow, he is known for extensive collaborations with Wynton and Branford Marsalis, Michael Brecker, and McCoy Tyner. Watts' influential recordings include "Blue, Vol. 1" and "Citizen Tain".
