John Cowan

Louisville-born bassist/vocalist John Cowan joined New Grass Revival in 1974, helping lead the 1980s bluegrass revival with Sam Bush, Béla Fleck, and Pat Flynn. He later fronted Sky Kings and released solo albums John Cowan (2000) and Always Take Me Back (2002).
