St. Louis-born fusion drummer Dave Weckl rose to acclaim during a six-year stint with Chick Corea’s Elektric Band and appearances with the Akoustic Band. He later led albums Master Plan, Heads Up and Hard-Wired, and formed the Dave Weckl Band.

Joey Calderazzo, a notable pianist in modern mainstream jazz, began with Blue Note albums and joined Michael Brecker's band in 1987. Known for his work with Branford Marsalis Quartet and collaborations with Bob Mintzer, Bob Belden, among others.

John Patitucci, born in Brooklyn, is a renowned jazz bassist known for his work in various genres. A 4-time Grammy winner, he's collaborated with legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Chick Corea, and Alicia Keys. As a composer, he has sixteen solo albums and writes for chamber groups and orchestras. Notable projects include the John Patitucci Electric Guitar Quartet and collaborations with the Harlem String Quartet.
