American disco icon Gloria Gaynor, from Newark, New Jersey, is celebrated for her powerful vocals and the enduring anthem "I Will Survive." A Grammy-winning artist, her music blends disco, R&B, and soul. Gaynor is also known for "Never Can Say Goodbye" and her gospel album "Testimony," which earned her another Grammy.
