Johnny Moped

Johnny Moped, from Croydon, South London, blended punk and R&B in their 1978 album Cycledelic. Known for eccentric lyrics and vocals, they shared stages with the Damned and Buzzcocks. Their 2013 documentary, "Basically, Johnny Moped," revived interest. Notable members included Captain Sensible and collaborations with Chrissie Hynde. After a hiatus, they returned with albums like It's a Real Cool Baby (2017).
