Artist Biography

Born in Stillwater, MN, Jonah Marais embarked on his musical journey in 2016 by live streaming from his bedroom, building a following that led to him co-founding the renowned band Why Dont We. Over their six years together, the group achieved remarkable milestones, amassing more than 9 billion global streams, earning two RIAA Platinum-certified singles, and five RIAA Gold-certified singles. With two Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 and sold-out tours at legendary venues worldwide, Jonah firmly established himself in the music scene with the band.

Recent Releases

In June 2024, Jonah took a bold step forward by releasing The Jonah Marais Mixtape - a collection of five songs that offers fans a raw and honest look into his personal journey. His standout single Slow Motion has surpassed 4 million streams and climbed to #28 on US Pop Radio, signaling his evolving artistry and resonance as a solo performer.

Acknowledgments and Collaborations

Named one of Amazon Musics 2025 Artists to Watch, Jonah kicked off the year with a Times Square billboard and a yearlong campaign highlighting his rising solo career.
