Joshua Redman

Joshua Redman, a renowned jazz tenor saxophonist from Berkeley, California, known for his post-bop and innovative explorations, achieved fame winning the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Competition in 1991. His 1993 debut album received a Grammy nomination, and he hit #1 on Billboard Jazz charts with "Wish," featuring Pat Metheny. Notable collaborations include Brad Mehldau, Yo-Yo Ma, and The Bad Plus. Redman has explored diverse sounds in projects like Elastic Band and James Farm and reunited with his '90s quartet for "RoundAgain" and "LongGone."
