Herlin Riley, born in New Orleans, is a renowned jazz drummer known for post-bop and New Orleans jazz. He gained fame with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, collaborating with artists like Harry Connick, Jr. and George Benson. Notable albums include "Majesty of the Blues" and "Blood on the Fields." His solo work, like "Cream of the Crescent," showcases Afro-Cuban rhythms.
