Jule Malischke and Don Ross

Jule, born in Germany, is a versatile guitarist, singer-songwriter, and lecturer. Known for her emotive guitar and powerful voice, she directs the Giengen Guitar Festival. Her music blends concert guitar and fingerstyle with poetic lyrics. Notable songs include "Free Your Mind," and "Soulfriend."

Don, Montreal-born musician, studied composition at Toronto's York University. A two-time US National Fingerpick Guitar Champ, he's known for blending electronic and orchestral styles. Collaborated with Michael Hedges and Keith Jarrett. Signed with Duke Street, Sony, Narada, and the first for CandyRat Records. Also composes film, TV, and video game scores. Won the Walter Carsen Prize in 2021. Now based in Charlottetown, he plays multiple instruments including guitar and piano.
