Junior Sisk, a Virginia Blue Ridge native, is a leading voice in traditional bluegrass, celebrated for his hard-driving, emotional style. Known for his powerful high-lonesome singing, he garnered IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for "The Heart of a Song". His albums include "Load the Wagon" and "It's All Fun and Games". Sisk's songwriting credits include hits for the Lonesome River Band, and he collaborated on "Longneck Blues" with Ronnie Bowman.
