Junoon, formed by Salman Ahmed, Ali Azmat, and Brian O'Connell, is a pioneering Asian band known for hits like "Jazba-e-Junoon." They've performed at Roskilde and are celebrated for blending rock with South Asian influences. Awarded by UNESCO and BBC, their album Azaadi earned a golden disc. Ahmed, a former medical student from Lahore, founded the band in 1990, leaving behind Vital Signs to pursue a unique musical vision.
