Kelsey Hillock, better known by her stage name KELS, is an American neo-soul, jazz, and pop singer-songwriter. Born in Germany to military parents and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she began writing music at age 13 and trained as a jazz vocalist. After debuting her original music at local festivals and releasing her debut EP Slow Ryde in 2021, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Known for her fiercely independent approach, she completed a completely fan-funded 52-show US tour in 2023 and headlined the Atlanta Jazz Festival in 2024.
