The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is a 2,765-capacity performing arts theatre in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, opened in 1959 and named by Queen Elizabeth II. Designed by a Montreal firm, it served as a prototype for theatre complexes across Canada and the U.S. This grand proscenium hall is the primary home for Vancouver Opera and Ballet BC.
