He recorded on The Bodyguard soundtrack, was part of BWB, and released notable albums like The Gospel According to Jazz series and Humanité. Whalum also toured extensively, contributing to soundtracks and covering artists like Stevie Wonder and Babyface.
New Orleans-born saxophonist Donald Harrison blends post-bop, traditional jazz, and R&B. Known for "Nouveau Swing," he’s Big Chief of the Congo Square Nation and plays with the Cookers, Headhunters, and Eddie Henderson. Collaborated with Terence Blanchard, Dr. John, and more.
