Miyuki Kawanaka, born Kimiko Kawanaka in Tottori, Japan, is a celebrated enka singer with a career spanning over four decades. She is renowned for her clear voice and captivating performances. Her popular songs include "Futarizake" and "Niren-sou," both selling over a million copies. Kawanaka has appeared on NHK's Kōhaku Uta Gassen 24 times. She released "Miyuki's Atami Ondo" and "Warm Current Sakura," and collaborated with artists like Ikuzo Yoshi.
Kiyoshi Maekawa, born in Sasebo, Nagasaki, debuted in 1969 with "Nagasaki wa Kyou mo Ame Datta" and won the Japan Record Award New Artist honor. Known for hits like "Soshite Kobe," he began a solo career in 1987 with hits like "Hana no Toki, Ai no Toki." He collaborated with artists like Masaharu Fukuyama and held a regular TV program, while also serving as a fraud prevention ambassador in Nagasaki. Celebrated his 50th anniversary in 2018.
