Kiyoshi Maekawa, born in Sasebo, Nagasaki, debuted in 1969 with "Nagasaki wa Kyou mo Ame Datta" as vocalist for Cool Five. Known for hits like "Soshite Kobe" and "Tokyo Sabaku," he later succeeded solo with "Hana no Toki, Ai no Toki." Produced "Himawari" with Masaharu Fukuyama and "Uso yo" by Yuzo Kayama. Regular on KBC's popular show, he's also Nagasaki's anti-fraud ambassador and marked 50 years in music in 2018.
