Kyle Gass, born in Walnut Creek, California, is a musician, actor, and comedian. He co-founded the Grammy-winning comedy rock band Tenacious D with Jack Black, known for their acoustic and heavy metal blend. He also leads the Kyle Gass Band and Trainwreck. Notable works include Tenacious D's "Post-Apocalypto" and the Kyle Gass Band's "Thundering Herd". He also won a FilmQuest award for acting.
