La Chica

Sophie Fustec, known professionally as La Chica, is a French-Venezuelan singer, songwriter, and producer born in Paris to a French father and a Venezuelan mother. Classically trained in piano and violin, she is recognized for an innovative musical style that blends Parisian electronic music and pop with traditional Venezuelan folk music and classical influences like Claude Debussy. Her discography includes her 2017 debut EP Oasis, the 2019 studio album Cambio, and the 2020 concept album La Loba, which was dedicated to her late brother, followed by her 2024 orchestral project, La Chica and El Duende Orchestra.
