La Pobreska and Subhumans

Formed in Wiltshire, U.K. in 1980, anarchist punk collective Subhumans released five influential albums on their Bluurg label, including The Day the Country Died. Blending political songcraft with experimental punk, the band reunited in 1998 and later released Internal Riot and Crisis Point.

They address political and everyday life issues through powerful protest songs in Spanish. Popular tracks include "El Inmigrante" and "Rebeldia." Albums like "Estamos Unidos" and "Corrupción Eterna" showcase their energetic style. They have shared stages with notable bands and performed extensively across North America.
