The Smiths with FRankly and Laid - James Tribute Band

Laid - James Tribute Band, originating from East Lancashire, UK, is the leading tribute to Manchester legends, James. Formed in 2018 with the blessing of James's own Tim Booth and Saul, they are celebrated for faithfully recreating the alternative rock sound and energy of the original band. Known for their powerful performances, Laid covers popular hits like "Sit Down," "Laid," and "She's a Star," earning high praise for their authentic live sound.

Manchester's The Smiths (1982) pioneered indie rock and jangle pop. Morrissey's poetic lyrics and Johnny Marr's iconic guitar defined their sound. With Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce, they crafted influential music, rejecting synth-pop. Hits include "This Charming Man" and "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out." Their critically acclaimed albums all reached the UK Top Five.
