Larry Carlton

Torrance-born Larry Carlton is a celebrated guitarist and composer, known for his fluid jazz and blues style. Rising from the '60s LA studio scene, he gained fame with the Crusaders and as a session musician for legends like Steely Dan and Michael Jackson. Carlton has earned multiple Grammy Awards, including for "Hill Street Blues." Despite a shooting incident, he continued his prolific career, collaborating with artists like Lee Ritenour and joining Fourplay. Notable for albums like "Discovery" and "Last Nite," Carlton remains a respected touring artist.
