Born and raised in Carle Place, New York, Grammy-winning rock guitar virtuoso Steve Vai played with Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth, and Whitesnake. His 1990 instrumental album Passion and Warfare went gold; he also co-founded the G3 tour with Joe Satriani.

Joe Satriani, a guitar virtuoso from Long Island, rose to fame with his instrumental album "Surfing with the Alien". Known for teaching legends like Steve Vai and Kirk Hammett, he has collaborated with Mick Jagger, Deep Purple, and the supergroup Chickenfoot. Notable works include "Flying in a Blue Dream" and "Crystal Planet". Satriani’s signature Ibanez guitars and the iconic G3 tour cemented his status. His music continues to captivate fans worldwide.
