Leon Lai

Leon Lai Ming is a Beijing-born Hong Kong actor and Cantopop singer, celebrated as one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of Hong Kong pop music. After placing as second runner-up in the 1986 New Talent Singing Awards, he rose to instant stardom with his 1990 debut album Leon under PolyGram. Known for his romantic ballads and later electronic dance tracks, he released dozens of commercially successful albums while establishing a prolific film career, starring in acclaimed movies like Fallen Angels and Comrades, Almost a Love Story. He won Best Actor at the Golden Horse Awards for Three: Going Home, founded the record label Amusic, and is heavily recognized for his extensive philanthropic work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
