Mark Shaw formed Then Jerico in 1982. Known for dance-rock hits like 'The Motive' and 'Big Area,' they achieved global success, touring with Iggy Pop and INXS. The 1989 album 'The Big Area (Outside)' sold 100,000 copies in 40 minutes. Collaborated with producers like Martin Rushent and Gary Langan. Shaw remains active in music.
Tony Hadley, born in Islington, rose to fame as Spandau Ballet's lead singer. Known for hits like "True" and "Gold," he achieved global success and later collaborated with artists like P.M. Dawn. Continues to perform and record.
Toyah Willcox, born in Birmingham, rose to fame in the late '70s with her band Toyah. Known for hits like "I Want to Be Free," she achieved mainstream success, including a Gold-certified "Anthem" album.
