Niclas Benjamin Peltonen, known mononymously as Benjamin, is a Finnish singer and songwriter. He originally gained recognition through his Instagram profile before signing a record deal with Warner Music Finland in 2014. He released his debut single "Underdogs" in 2014, followed by his debut English-language album Fingerprints in 2016, which achieved chart success in Finland and Spain. In 2018, he transitioned to releasing music in Finnish, debuting the album Someveteraani in 2020 and later competing in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2023 with the hit single "Hoida mut."
